Paint Sales Associate

We are seeking a Paint Sales Associate to join our team!

Responsibilities:

· Assisting professional contractors and retail customers in selecting paint and related products.

· Greeting customers, responding to questions, improving engagement with merchandise and providing outstanding customer service.

· Maintain the paint counter and aisles on a daily basis.

· Offer color matching expertise and paint product selection advice.

· Maintain awareness of all promotions and advertisements.

· Uphold merchandising and store cleanliness standards.

· Help the team to keep the receiving and back stock area clean and organized

· Aid customers in locating merchandise in store, as well as processing special orders.

· Answer customers’ questions and provide information on procedures and policies.

Qualifications:

· Min 1 years paint store experience; Color matching; Sales and marketing experience with retail programs and or blind sales an asset..

· Skills/Knowledge: Knowledge of retail computer systems.

· A commitment to service excellence and customer satisfaction.

· Solid team player with excellent interpersonal skills.

· Excellent communication skills, exceptional organizational ability, high attention to detail, and ability to multitask.

· Must be able to lift 65 pounds frequently to load and unload customer orders.

· Ability and willingness to work flexible hours including Saturdays.
