We are having opening for Oracle DBA consultant for full time with remote option forour reputed client.
Experience: 10-15 yrs.
Candidates with less experience are not considered.

Responsibilities:
• Install, configure, and upgrade Oracle E-Business Suite and Oracle database software on Exadata and other infrastructure.
• Perform database administration tasks, including database creation, configuration, backup and recovery, and monitoring.
• Implement and maintain database security, ensuring data privacy and compliance with industry standards.
• Monitor and optimize database performance, identify bottlenecks, and recommend and implement performance tuning measures.
• Plan and execute database patching and upgrade activities, including coordination with other teams and stakeholders.
• Manage database backups, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures.
• Collaborate with application developers, system administrators, and other IT teams to resolve issues and implement solutions.
• Analyze and troubleshoot database-related problems, including errors, performance issues, and data integrity problems.
• Implement and maintain database monitoring and alerting systems to ensure proactive identification and resolution of issues.
• Stay updated with the latest Oracle technologies, features, and best practices, and make recommendations for improvements and enhancements.
• Develop and maintain documentation related to database administration processes, procedures, and configurations.
• Participate in on-call rotations and respond to critical incidents in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
• Extensive experience working as an Oracle Apps DBA, managing Oracle E-Business Suite and Oracle databases.
• Strong experience with Exadata infrastructure and Oracle Exadata Database Machine.
• Proficiency in Oracle database administration tasks, including installation, configuration, patching, and performance tuning.
• Solid understanding of Oracle E-Business Suite architecture, components, and integration points.
• In-depth knowledge of database backup and recovery strategies, including RMAN and Oracle Data Guard.
• Familiarity with database security principles and best practices.
• Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager and other database monitoring and management tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex database issues.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as in a team-oriented environment.
• Relevant Oracle certifications, such as Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) or Oracle Certified Expert (OCE), are a plus
