Oracle Database Developer

Job Summary

As a Database Developer you are responsible for database design and development of new database objects including tables, views, functions, stored procedures, indexes, jobs etc., following Agile Development Methodology. Also responsible for understanding, suggesting and choose from, possible technical solutions/tools to satisfy business needs. Use the best practices/techniques for keeping the design/solution under control without excessive work orrework. Assist developers with complex query tuning and schema refinement.

Responsibilities and Duties
• Experience with backups, restores and recovery models.
• Experience with Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO), using native monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
• Sharp eye for minute details in design
• Hands on experience in Postgres Database
• Experience on collaborating with a team of Java developers.
• Develop procedures and scripts for data migration.
