Sales Manager – Domestic & Export (Food Ingredients)
Location: Ahmedabad (or as required)
Department: Sales, Marketing & Business Development
Reporting To: Director / Business Head
Role Summary
We are looking for a result-driven Sales Manager to lead domestic and international sales of food ingredients such as potato starch, modified starches, and starch derivatives. The role focuses on B2B sales growth, export market expansion, key account management, and revenue maximisation across India and global markets.
Key Responsibilities
• Drive domestic and export sales growth across food processing industries (FMCG, bakery, dairy, snacks, beverages, noodles, etc.).
• Develop new B2B customers, distributors, and export markets.
• Manage key accounts, ensure repeat business, and maintain strong client relationships.
• Handle export enquiries, pricing, negotiations, contracts, and overseas partnerships.
• Coordinate export documentation, logistics, CHA, and freight partners.
• Conduct customer meetings, product trials, and technical presentations.
• Track competitor activity, pricing trends, and market opportunities.
• Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and maintain CRM/ERP data.
Skills & Competencies
• Strong B2B sales, negotiation, and account management skills.
• Technical understanding of food ingredients, starches, and modified starches.
• Working knowledge of export documentation, INCOTERMS, and global trade practices.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently with high ownership and accountability.
Qualifications & Experience
• Graduate/Postgraduate in Food Technology, Chemistry, Science, or Management (preferred).
• 3–10+ years of B2B sales experience in food ingredients or related industries.
• Proven experience in handling both domestic and export markets.
Compensation & Growth
• CTC: ₹6 – ₹12 LPA (based on experience & export exposure)
• Performance incentives, travel allowance, and reimbursements.
• Strong long-term growth into leadership roles in domestic and global sales.

Responsibilities
• Revenue Invoicing – Ensuring accurate and timely raising of revenue invoicing with zero revenue leakage
• Compliance - Complying all taxation and statutory obligations related to revenue invoicing

• Attending and resolving queries of auditors.

Qualifications
• Inter CA, ICWA, MBA
