Job Description

Royal Oak Services provides tree planting, stump removal and landscaping services for any Southern Ontario Region.

We are currently seeking an Office Assistant.

Job Description:

Request locates (Permits) for planting street/park trees operations
Track the locates, monitor the approval process and document the clearance paperwork.
Prepare maps for planting crews
Keep the information updated
Resolve any issues with locates/maps
Miscellaneous projects as assigned
Perform other administrative duties as required
Competencies:

Be familiar with requesting/documentation the locates and preferably have a background in landscaping or construction. (Preferred)
Have experience working with the Ontario One Call Website (Preferred)
Proficient in working with Microsoft Office (Excel and Word)
Experience dealing and communicating directly with customers/contractors
Accuracy in your paperwork, attention to detailed information and ability to provide solutions in a positive manner
Critical thinking and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment
Strong work ethic – reliable and punctual
Proven organizational skills and self-accountability
Ability to be a visible team player and have excellent interpersonal skills
Self-organizing and able to multitask
Able to learn and quickly adapt to the team’s growth
Good organizational skills
Ability to follow instruction
Access to a vehicle
Overtime: May be required during peak planting season

Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
