Northern Regional Development Coordinator

We seek a 12-month contract Development Coordinator to oversee and expand the Boys' Brigade (BB New Zealand) and Girls' Brigade (GB) programs across Auckland/Northland, with the aim of enhancing our role in local churches and communities. The primary responsibilities include creating and executing action plans aligned with organizational strategies, aiming for measurable outcomes reported weekly. Key tasks involve establishing new BB/GB groups by networking with churches, schools, and other organizations with set annual targets. The coordinator will initiate and encourage group setup, ensuring effective program planning before transitioning and supporting leadership of the groups on an ongoing basis in the BB/GB environment. Additional duties encompass leading BB's Edge Workshop program in schools, event coordination and volunteer care.

Training and support for leaders is crucial, ensuring they are well-equipped and registered. Facilitating communication via social media and other platforms enhances group cohesion and support. Financial management responsibilities include budget preparation, fundraising, and reporting to management. Regular reporting and communication on progress, maintaining stakeholder relationships, and professional development are integral.
