Job Title: SQL Server Database Administrator (DBA) with OLTP & Azure Cloud Computing

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled SQL Server DBA with 10+ years of experience to manage, monitor, and optimize our database infrastructure SQL server in AWS. The ideal candidate will ensure high availability, performance, and security of SQL Server environments, and support root cause analysis for performance issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor SQL Server instances (AWS cloud).

• Perform root cause analysis for performance issues and outages on Infra side.

• Analyze system metrics (CPU, memory, I/O) and resolve bottlenecks.

• Identify and resolve deadlocks, blocking, and contention issues.

• Collaborate with developers and infrastructure teams for database support.

• Have performed AWS to Azure (Hybrid Cloud) Migration activity.

• Should possess strong knowledge & working experience in SSMS, SCT, DMS tools.

Must-Have Skills

• Strong experience with SQL Server administration (2016+).

• Proficiency in performance monitoring and troubleshooting tools (e.g., DMVs, Extended Events, SQL Profiler).

• Experience with index management, partitioning, and storage optimization.

• Knowledge of security best practices, auditing, and role-based access control.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS SQL server & Azure).

• Experience with Database architecture design and framework.

• Knowledge in working with high OLTP and contiguous Database.

• Should have worked in Real Time Clusters Database and Multi-node Application.

• Additional, Good to have Oracle Database skill set.
