Database & Network Administrator / Architect for Workflow Annotation Specialist
We are seeking domain experts to participate in a Workflow Annotation Project. The role involves documenting and annotating the step-by-step workflows of key tasks within the candidate's area of expertise. The goal is to capture real-world processes in a structured format for AI training and process optimization purposes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Tune, secure, and back up databases; perform restores and patching.
• Design schemas, plan migrations, and implement high-availability/DR setups.
• Configure firewalls, VPNs, VLANs; monitor network traffic and capacity.
• Script automation/fixes and maintain infrastructure resilience.
Tools & Technologies You May Have Worked With:
• Commercial Tools: Oracle, SQL Server, Amazon DynamoDB, Elasticsearch (Elastic Cloud), Cisco IOS, Palo Alto PAN-OS, Juniper OS, SolarWinds, Windows Server, Nagios XI, Zabbix Enterprise.
• Open/Free Tools: Ubuntu, CentOS, Debian; MySQL, PostgreSQL, MariaDB, SQLite, MongoDB Community; pfSense, OpenWrt, Wireshark, Nagios Core, Zabbix, Prometheus + Grafana; OpenVPN, WireGuard, Bash, Python, Git; pgModeler, MySQL Workbench CE.
Additional Requirements:
• Experience with open-source software, including Google Workspace, LibreOffice Suite, Thunderbird + Lightning, Nextcloud Mail/Calendar, Jitsi Meet, Joplin, Standard Notes, Simplenote, Airtable, Baserow.
Duration:
This contract-based/freelance/part-time position will last for one month.
