Job description
SPRAT - Society for Promoting Rationality is a national award-winning NGO, committed to promoting rationality and scientific temper, inter-faith harmony, and fairness. In our immediate surroundings, we also work to promote adult literacy and empowerment of under-served people. We are also building a 13kSY Campus to offer integrated, digitally powered social services, and a PG academy for public administration and advocacy at Matar, 35 km from Ahmedabad.

• RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Have to stay at Ahmedabad or Matar at times at our cost
- Handle minor everyday repairs and maintenance.
- Organizing and keeping files, handling projects, collecting and distributing couriers or packages among workers.
- Handling indoor manual services
- Cleaning the devices and appliances within the workplace.
- Offering manual assistance to the office personnel and facilitating their work.
- Delivering photocopies, prints, etc. and sending them, and doing any related search projects.
- Offering such other help as is conventionally handled by subordinate staff in the marketplace
• REQUIREMENTS:
• Education and Knowledge:
- SSC+
• Experience:
- Experience of 2 - 3 years.
• Miscellaneous:
- Proper office etiquette, manners, and culture behaving of an employee of an NGO.
- Jack of all trades type.
- Must be keen to learn.
- Preferably living at or near Paldi.
- Maintaining a bicycle or other 2-wheeler for office work.
- Functional knowledge/experience of construction machinery and tools.
- Functional spoken English and Hindi and basic Computer knowledge.
- Must be a multi-tasker, good at shopping and/or handling minor everyday repairs and maintenance.
- Must have left-secular and scientific temperament.
- Similar position is also available at TARKIK SADAN, Matar, 40 KMs from Ahmedabad.
• COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
- Compensation Range: 1,25,000 - 1,70,000 P. A.
- Subsidized accommodation and food may be considered
- Possibility of employment for the spouse exists.
• Job Types: Full-time, Regular / Permanent
Pay: ₹125,000.00 - ₹170,000.00 per year
