Responsibilities
As Production Planner, you’ll report directly to the Production Control Manager, taking charge of the scheduling and planning activities that keep our manufacturing process running smoothly and meeting customer demands
In this role, you’ll be at the heart of operations, staying connected with the team and keeping everyone in sync on material needs, production status, and the bigger picture of what’s needed each day
Keep Things Moving: Plan and prioritize shop floor work orders, making sure production runs efficiently and we’re always hitting our targets
Optimize Resources: Develop and improve processes to get the most out of materials and increase output
Coordinate and Communicate: Host regular reviews with warehouse teams, customer service, and both internal and external production sites to stay ahead of delivery goals
Monitor Progress: Keep a close eye on shop orders, ensuring everything stays on track
Collaborate with the Team: Stay in constant communication with production leads and supervisors to keep everyone aligned on goals and priorities
Problem-Solve: When issues come up, follow our escalation process to resolve them quickly
Understand the Flow: Dive deep into the workflow for various products, so you’re prepared to make the best calls on priorities
Report Outcomes: Track production outputs and report back to the management team with updates
Shift: This is a Monday-Friday role
