The Maintenance Mechanical Technician will engage in production equipment maintenance to ensure continuous production, including troubleshooting, regular preventive maintenance plan execution (TPM), and equipment modification. This position will be involved with basic and advanced mechanical work as qualified (additional training will be provided).

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Performs responsibilities of conducting corrective and preventive maintenance of production equipment and their controls to ensure proper operation of machinery
• Communicates directly with the production department to coordinate preventive maintenance and troubleshooting work in production areas; reviews production repair work orders and discusses TPM activity with production
• Prepares and maintains periodic preventive maintenance schedules and checklists
• Responsible for accurate record keeping for preventative and reactive maintenance work orders
• Participate and lead maintenance improvement activities
• Ensure work is completed in a safe manner and maintain a safe work environment
• Prepare and maintain maintenance-related documents, daily reports, etc.
• Other equipment maintenance and repair tasks as assigned
• Maintain confidentiality of company information (including but not limited to drawings, schematics, process information, and recipes).
• May be exposed to cleanroom environment, dust, solvents, welding, mixing, noise, high temperature, low humidity, air-conditioned environment, CT Scan, X-Ray, and high-security areas

Requirements

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Ability to perform the physical demands of a maintenance position
• Basic maintenance tool understanding and ability to use tools properly
• Experience with pneumatic, hydraulic and mechanical system troubleshooting and repair
• Minimum of 4 years of maintenance experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Fabrication experience
• Familiarity with electricity and electronics
