Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily

Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related mechanical experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization
Must have knowledge of mechanics and building trades, electricity and carpentry
Must be capable of operating all machines in the operation
Must have some computer knowledge
Must have working knowledge of OSHA laws
Ability to maintain, troubleshoot and service all plant equipment
Ability to perform electrical, PLC and robotic troubleshooting, installation and repairs
Must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
Ability to perform preventative maintenance and routine service on machines and equipment

Analyzes manufacturing parts in house to reduce vendor cost
Maintains preventive maintenance program for all manufacturing machinery
Evaluates production machine capabilities, reviews with Engineering Supervisor
Makes modification and performs maintenance as required
Works with outside vendors to ensure timely and quality services
Ensures compliance will all governmental standards (safety and maintenance) when analyzing or implementing equipment
Assists workers in diagnosing malfunctions in machinery and equipment
Inform supervisors on the status of all machinery
Submits requisitions and keeps current supply of maintenance supplies and parts
Confers with reporting supervisor to coordinate maintenance activities of individual departments
Investigates and performs maintenance as needed
Trained and authorized in operating articulating lift
Perform other related tasks as needed
