Job Summary:
You will be part of a dynamic team working together with Package Delivery Drivers to ensure timely and efficient package delivery during the busiest time of the year. This seasonal position allows you to ride along with drivers in our iconic brown trucks, assist with package deliveries, and provide excellent customer service. The role offers flexibility, physical activity, and the opportunity to work outdoors while helping deliver holiday cheer to customers.
Responsibilities:
• Ride along with a UPS Package Delivery Driver and assist with deliveries on a pre-assigned route.
• Help deliver packages to customers in a timely and accurate manner.
• Work with the driver to manage multiple deliveries, ensuring safe handling of packages.
• Greet customers, offering excellent customer service during every interaction.
• Be prepared to lift packages weighing up to 70 lbs.
• Follow assigned schedules and operational guidelines provided by UPS.
• Maintain a positive and professional attitude while working outdoors.
Qualifications and Experience:
• Legal right to work in the U.S.
• Ability to lift packages up to 70 lbs.
• Must enjoy working outdoors and have the stamina for an active, physically demanding role.
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on customer service.
• Reliable, responsible, and able to follow instructions.
• No prior experience necessary – on-the-job training will be provided.
• A pair of sturdy work boots is required for safety.
