Firm Type: Law Firm, Experience: 5 Years, A law firm in Boca Raton, FL is seeking an experienced Litigation Attorney to manage a diverse caseload and collaborate with a paralegal and team of legal assistants. The ideal candidate will have substantial trial experience, including serving as First Chair, and a strong background in personal injury litigation. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to handle a high volume of cases, and proficiency in case management software.Duties:Manage 35-40 active files, overseeing all aspects of case preparation and trial.Work directly with at least one paralegal and a team of legal assistants to support ongoing cases.Handle general litigation tasks, including motion practice, discovery, and depositions.Represent clients in trials, with a requirement for prior experience as First Chair.Conduct fact and expert witness depositions.Ensure effective communication with clients and team members, providing updates and resolving issues.Demonstrate professionalism and a strong commitment to client service and representation.Utilize SmartAdvocate® or similar case management software to track case progress and manage documentation.Prioritize and manage a heavy workload in a fast-paced legal environment.Maintain proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant tools.Requirements:5+ years of personal injury litigation experience.Trial experience required, with a proven record as First Chair during trials.Member of the Florida Bar and in good standing.General litigation experience, including motion practice, discovery, and depositions.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Bilingual ability is a plus.Experience with SmartAdvocate® case management software is a plus.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and work under pressure.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Active membership with the Florida Bar Association.Skills:Proven trial experience and ability to handle complex litigation.Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and manage a heavy caseload.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.Proficiency in case management software and Microsoft Office Suite.Professionalism with a focus on client service and representation.Ability to work collaboratively with a legal team and manage client relationships.Benefits Offered:Competitive wage.Paid Time Off (PTO), including holidays, bereavement, and sick leave.401K Retirement Savings Plan with firm match.Group Medical, Dental, and Vision Plans.Employer-covered supplemental benefits.Voluntary supplemental benefits.Annual performance reviews.
