Responsibilities for Library Security Guard
Maintain a safe and secure environment
Access control of entryways and exit points using equipment at your disposal
Enforce property regulations and city by-laws on the client's site
Patrol and monitor premises regularly to maintain order and establish presence
Protect the client's assets relative to theft, assault, fire, and other safety issues
Complete daily reports and incident reports
Check the proper functioning of alarms and cameras
Document incidents and actions taken
Respond to alarms and conduct on-site checks
Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents
Qualifications for Library Security Guard
Be authorized to work in Canada
Tactical experience will be a great asset
Hold a valid security license
Class 5 driver's license and clean drivers abstract
First aid certification is an asset
Exceptional customer service skills
Proficient in basic phone & computer skills
Saskatchewan Security Guard License Training Certificate (we can help you get this)
