Integritas Law Firm is a general practice law firm that primarily caters to CALD private clients who are first-generation migrants from Hong Kong, mainland China, Taiwan, and South-East Asia. Our main practice area is civil litigation, which involves debt and money claims, breach of contract, unjust enrichment, and civil wrongs. We also handle a significant amount of employment, criminal defence, and family law matters.
About the role
We are seeking a Litigation Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, good problem-solving and legal research skills, and the ability to communicate in Mandarin and type/write in Chinese. The candidate will be expected to receive legal tasks commensurate with their experience and complete them to a high standard. Other responsibilities will include drafting legal correspondence and court documents, running litigation matters, and providing high-quality advocacy for clients.
Possible opportunities to work in Australia at our Sydney branch (Trans-Tasman proceedings and general practice work).
Skills and experience

Good interpersonal and English communication skills

Good problem-solving and legal research skills
Hold, or is eligible to promptly hold a New Zealand Law Society practising certificate or hold a practising certificate from any State/Territory in Australia
Ability to communicate in Chinese (Mandarin) and type/write Chinese preferred.
We are looking at PQE of 1 year or more. However, if you believe you've got what it takes, you are welcome to apply even if you are under that PQE level.
Applicants should be able to work lawfully in New Zealand without restrictions.
Above market remuneration will be offered to the selected candidate. We generally match pay grades with similar-sized law firms in Australia.
