Laundry Attendant

Responsibilities

Operate laundry machines and equipment to wash, dry, and fold linens, towels, uniforms, and guest clothing with precision and care
Sort laundry items by color, fabric type, and cleaning requirements to ensure optimal results
Perform cleaning tasks including stain removal, garment inspection, and quality checks to uphold high standards of cleanliness
Handle dry cleaning processes for delicate or specialized items according to established procedures
Maintain cleanliness of the laundry area by organizing supplies, sanitizing equipment, and adhering to safety protocols
Assist with inventory management by tracking linen supplies and notifying management when stock levels are low
Support other housekeeping or hotel operations as needed to ensure a seamless guest experience
Qualifications

Prior experience in laundry services or hotel housekeeping is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
Knowledge of laundry techniques including washing, drying, folding, and stain removal
Familiarity with dry cleaning processes is a plus
Strong attention to detail to ensure all linens meet quality standards before returning to guests or storage
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks efficiently
Good organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
