Laboratory Coordinator

About the Role

The Science department at Tullawong State High School is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Laboratory Coordinator to manage the day-to-day activities of the science laboratory. This is a permanent part-time position, working 43.5 hours per fortnight.

Your responsibilities will include:
Preparing chemical solutions and setting up samples and demonstrations for practical teaching laboratory use.
Working safely with chemicals and maintaining a safe laboratory environment.
Maintaining scientific resources and laboratories in a clean and secure manner.
Assisting teaching staff in science experiment preparation, operation, and clean-up.

Key Responsibilities

This role requires a high level of organisation, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. As a Laboratory Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of the science department and supporting the delivery of quality education.
