Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Helper to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting the kitchen staff by ensuring cleanliness, assisting with food preparation, and maintaining a smooth workflow in the kitchen environment. This position is perfect for individuals passionate about food service and hospitality, looking to gain valuable experience in a fast-paced restaurant or hotel setting.

Responsibilities

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment.
Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, measuring ingredients, and assembling dishes.
Help cooks and chefs with various tasks as needed to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Stock supplies and ingredients as required, ensuring that all items are properly labeled and stored.
Support the team during peak hours by providing assistance wherever necessary to enhance service delivery.
Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required.
Knowledge of food handling and safety practices is a plus.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to ensure cleanliness and orderliness in the kitchen.
Willingness to learn new skills related to food preparation and cooking techniques.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
Knowing Japanese is a plus.

Pay: $17.20-$23.39 per hour
