Junior Web Designer

Key Responsibilities

Website Design and Layout : Assist in creating visually appealing website layouts and designs that align with client requirements and branding guidelines.

Ensure designs are user-friendly and optimized for functionality and responsiveness. Conduct thorough testing to identify and resolve issues with design elements, layout, or usability.

Ensure all web designs adhere to best practices and accessibility standards.

HTML/CSS Development : Translate design mockups into clean, efficient, and maintainable HTML and CSS code. Ensure compatibility across browsers and devices.

Graphics and Visual Elements: Design and optimize web graphics, banners, icons, and other visual assets using tools like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar software.

Ensure high-quality visual content that enhances user experience.

Collaborate with Teams and Basic Coding Support : Provide basic support in JavaScript or other front-end scripting as needed.

Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot design-related issues. Work closely with senior designers, developers, and project managers to understand project goals and deliverables.

Responsive Design : Ensure designs are fully responsive and adaptable to various screen sizes, including desktops, tablets, and mobile devices.

Stay Updated on Industry Trends : Keep up-to-date with the latest web design trends, tools, and technologies. Suggest improvements or innovative design ideas to enhance project outcomes.

Content Integration : Assist in integrating content, images, and other media into website frameworks. Ensure consistency in typography, color schemes, and overall visual branding.

Documentation and Reporting : Provide regular updates to supervisors or clients regarding tasks and deliverables.

Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Web Design, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

- Strong understanding of HTML/HTML5, CSS/CSS3/SCSS, and Foundational understanding of JavaScript principles and syntax.

- Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD), Sketch, or Figma.

- Optional but preferred: Experience with Bootstrap 5 or Tailwind CSS

- Familiarity with responsive design and mobile-first development.

- Basic understanding of UX/UI design principles.

- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

- Eagerness to learn and grow in the field of web design.

- Experience: 6 months to 2 years of experience in web design or a related role. Internships or freelance projects are acceptable for entry-level candidates.

- Knowledge of Angular will be a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹325,000.00 per year
