Location - Remote Contract Role for 6+ months Availability - Looking for an immediate joiner We are seeking a JumpCloud Engineer/Administrator with 2-4 years of experience in managing JumpCloud Directory Platform and cloud-based identity and access management (IAM) solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for administering, configuring, and supporting JumpCloud, ensuring seamless identity management, security, and system integration across the organization. Key Responsibilities: JumpCloud Administration & Management: • Manage and administer JumpCloud Directory Platform, including user provisioning, role-based access control (RBAC), and group policies. • Configure Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and identity security policies in JumpCloud. • Manage device policies, Zero Trust security configurations, and system enrollments for Windows, macOS, and Linux. • Monitor and troubleshoot directory synchronization, LDAP, and RADIUS authentication issues. • Implement and maintain JumpCloud PowerShell and API automation for user and system management. • Ensure compliance and security best practices for identity and device management. Identity & Access Management (IAM): • Configure SSO integrations with SaaS applications (Google Workspace, O365, AWS, Salesforce, etc.). • Manage role-based access controls (RBAC) and least privilege access policies. • Enforce password policies, authentication workflows, and conditional access policies. • Monitor and remediate IAM security threats and vulnerabilities. Device & Endpoint Management: • Implement JumpCloud’s cross-platform endpoint management for Windows, macOS, and Linux devices. • Configure MDM policies, security baselines, and endpoint compliance policies. • Manage software deployments, patching, and OS security updates. • Support remote troubleshooting and remediation of device issues. Automation & API Integration: • Utilize JumpCloud APIs and PowerShell scripting to automate user provisioning, deprovisioning, and reporting. • Integrate JumpCloud with ITSM tools (ServiceNow, Jira, etc.) for automated workflows. • Create dashboards and reports for auditing user access, security policies, and compliance. Required Skills & Qualifications: • 2-4 years of experience as a JumpCloud Engineer, IAM Engineer, or System Administrator. • Hands-on experience with JumpCloud Directory Platform administration. • Strong knowledge of IAM, SSO, MFA, RBAC, and Zero Trust security models. • Experience with directory synchronization (LDAP, Active Directory, Azure AD). • Proficiency in PowerShell, Bash, or Python for automation. • Experience managing device security policies for Windows, macOS, and Linux. • Understanding of network authentication protocols (RADIUS, SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect). • Strong troubleshooting skills in IAM, authentication, and endpoint security. Preferred Qualifications (Good to Have): • JumpCloud Certified Engineer (JCE) or related IAM certifications. • Experience integrating JumpCloud with Google Workspace, O365, AWS, Okta, or other cloud platforms. • Knowledge of IT security best practices and compliance requirements. • Experience with IT automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, SCCM, Intune, etc.). • Familiarity with SIEM, security monitoring, and IAM auditing tools.
