Housekeeping Aide

As a Housekeeper, you will be part of our team where liveliness, imagination and effective communication are valued and rewarded.
Housekeeper Duties & Responsibilities
• Dusting, cleaning, vacuuming, and mopping of equipment, patient rooms, general areas
• Process and transport laundry and linen throughout the facility
• Launder, press, fold, deliver and store clothes and other items
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with state and federal laws and regulations
• Follow facility policies and procedures
• Attend required staff in-services
• Perform other duties as assigned
Laundry Aide Requirements:
• The ability to think and work independently and with direction, and communicate effectively with staff members in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment
• A high school diploma or equivalent
• Current identification
• Excellent personal hygiene
Experience:
• Prior experience in long-term care is preferred
• Prior experience in a hotel environment is preferred
• Prior experience with isolation/infection control is preferred
Estimated Salary: $35,000 - $45,000 per year
