About the job
Key responsibilities:

1. Maintain and update financial records by the company's policies and relevant regulations.
2. Ensure the accuracy of financial documents and entries.
3. Reconcile bank statements and manage accounts payable/receivable.
4. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
5. Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
6. Provide detailed analysis and commentary on financial results.
7. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
8. Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits and provide necessary documentation.
+. Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets.
10. Prepare and file tax returns in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
11. Identify and implement tax-saving strategies.
12. Monitor and control company expenses.
13. Conduct a cost-benefit analysis to evaluate the financial viability of projects and initiatives.
14. Evaluate and recommend improvements to accounting processes and systems.
15. Implement new accounting software and technologies as required.
16. Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
17. Assist in financial planning and risk management activities.
