OpenEdge Database Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled OpenEdge Database Professional to join our team at Interface Recruitment UK. This is an exciting opportunity to work with leading-edge technology and take on the role of OpenEdge DBA for our client.
About the Job

This is a Contract position, with an estimated salary of £50,000 - £65,000 per annum based on experience and location. As an OpenEdge DBA, you will be responsible for the day-to-day support and management of Dev/Test/Production OpenEdge environments, including database backups, data growth, and environment refreshing.
Key Tasks
• Manage and maintain OpenEdge databases
• Install, configure, and administer mission-critical OpenEdge databases
• Tune database performance
• Install and configure OpenEdge Server Instances
• Migrate and upgrade OpenEdge Server Instances
• Provide recommendations to management for DB configuration, software purchases, and migration paths
• Manage OpenEdge databases at a macro and micro level (Table, Index, Data-file, Fragmentation etc)
• Provide out-of-hours and on-call support
