Sysco North Texas seeks a highly motivated Delivery Driver Assistant to support our team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, along with a strong ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities
• Unload and inspect all arriving and departing products with relevant staff members.
• Organize and secure items properly to prevent damage during transportation.
• Ensure prompt delivery and orderly stacking of merchandise at customer sites.
• Utilize company-provided non-commercial vehicles under the supervision of the Transportation Manager to transport products.
• Thoroughly check and report accurate order quantities to clients.
• Provide support to drivers in transferring products to customers.
• Physically lift and transport loads weighing up to +0 pounds, with typical cases weighing around 50 pounds.
• Manually or mechanically load and unload trucks and company vehicles.
• Transport perishable goods and other items to customers according to their specifications.
• Work overtime shifts when needed.
• Contribute to a safe workplace culture and maintain adherence to standard schedules and attendance protocols.

Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this role, candidates need a valid Commercial Driver's License that they must obtain within +0 days of starting work. Having a high school diploma or equivalent is beneficial.

Remuneration Package

Our compensation package includes an annual salary of $48,000, influenced by your experience level, plus opportunities for professional growth and development.
