HGV Driver Job Opportunity

We are recruiting for experienced HGV Class 1 drivers to work at our ESL Sittingbourne depot. The ideal candidate will have a valid HGV 1/C+E licence, 6+ months UK driving experience, and be familiar with Driver s Hours, Working Time Directive (WTD) legislation.

Responsibilities:
• Drive HGV vehicles safely and efficiently
• Meet delivery deadlines and maintain accurate records
• Conduct thorough vehicle checks and report any defects

Requirements:
• Valid HGV 1/C+E Licence
• 6+ months UK driving experience
• No more than 6 points on your licence and no DD/DR convictions
• Current, valid DCPC & Tacho cards

Shift Pattern: 5 out of 7 shifts available, various start times. Pay rates vary depending on the shift pattern.

Pay Rates:
• £17.14 per hour for Monday to Friday day shifts (£17.88 per hour including holiday pay)
• £18.32 per hour for Monday to Friday night shifts (£21.28 per hour including holiday pay)
• £21.28 per hour for Saturday day shifts (£21.88 per hour including holiday pay)
• £21.88 per hour for Sunday day shifts (£22.00 per hour including holiday pay)

Estimated Salary: Based on 40 hours per week, approximately £43,000 - £54,000 per year.
