This recruitment is for two (2) Facility Maintenance Technician – Bldg Trades- Journey positions (00061+07, 00032605). By applying, you will be considered for both positions.

Makes roofing and carpentry repairs and installations, and performs preventive maintenance on all campus buildings. Repair/replace historical building components with original matching materials. Water test, replace and repair roof drains, internal downspout pipes, overflow pipe systems, storm water drains, and water collection systems. Remove replace insulation, asbestos, glazing and lead paint from pipes, windows and other exterior building components. Test, inspect and service fall protection cable / anchor systems, lightning rod and cable systems, mechanical roof and smoke hatches. Operate heavy machinery such as boomlifts, dump trucks, loaders and forklifts.
