Multilingual Educational Support Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated English Language Learner Instructional Assistant to join our team. This individual will provide critical support to teachers in delivering quality education to K-12 students who are not proficient in English.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist teachers with instruction, focusing on supporting English language learners' academic growth.
• Foster a positive learning environment, promoting inclusivity and respect for diverse cultures.
• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans, incorporating games, stories, and manipulatives to enhance students' learning skills.
• Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring timely submission of required documents.
• Demonstrate initiative in identifying potential problems or opportunities for improvement, reporting concerns to supervisors as needed.
• Prioritize confidentiality, handling sensitive information with discretion.

Qualifications:
• A minimum of an Associate's degree or equivalent higher education experience.
• Two years of relevant work experience, preferably in educational settings, working with English language learners.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and collaboration.
• Ability to identify and solve problems proactively, using technology to manage data and produce reports.
• Physical stamina to perform job responsibilities, including standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Estimated Salary: $52,500 - $65,000 per year

Terms of Employment: 182 days
