About the Position

This is a full-time position that requires a strong foundation in special education law, policy, and best practices. You will be responsible for developing and implementing IEPs, collaborating with teachers and parents, and providing direct support to students in the classroom.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and implement IEPs that align with state and federal regulations.
• Provide direct support to students in the classroom, including instruction, behavioral management, and assistive technology.
• Collaborate with teachers and parents to ensure seamless communication and coordination of support services.
• Monitor student progress and make data-driven decisions to inform instruction and programming.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field.
• Valid Alabama teaching certification in Special Education.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
Salary and Benefits
