Instructional Assistant - Mathematics

Job Description:
The Alabama Department of Education invites applications for the position of Instructional Assistant - Mathematics. This role provides critical support to our teaching staff, enabling them to deliver high-quality instruction and enhance student learning outcomes.

Key Tasks:
• Work closely with teachers to design and implement effective mathematics lessons that cater to diverse student needs.
• Assist students in grasping mathematical concepts, providing one-on-one support as needed.
• Evaluate student progress, offering feedback to teachers and students to inform future instruction.

Requirements:
• A minimum of two years post-secondary education or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with a focus on meeting deadlines and achieving objectives.

Compensation Details:
A salary of $62,500 - $72,500 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package, featuring health, dental, and vision insurance, paid vacation and sick leave.
