Warehouse/Driver

Job description
We are currently looking for a warehouse assistant / interbranch driver to join the team at our Manchester distribution centre.

You will assist in the warehouse performing the following duties;
• Checking and putting away deliveries from suppliers.
• Ensuring anomalies with any orders are corrected (contact suppliers etc.)
• Picking parts and loading onto necessary vans.
• Ensure stock takes are completed as per rolling schedule.
• Ensuring paperwork is kept up to date and filed correctly.
• Other general warehouse tasks to maintain a smooth operation.

And when driving you will be delivering stock from our Manchester distribution hub to surrounding branches (using supplied MPD Van). At each branch stop you will assist pick the product to then load onto the delivery van and drop-off at the relevant branch.

You will need to be physically fit as some lifting of heavy boxes and parts will be necessary and you must be able to work in a timely manner and have a great attention to detail.

You should have a good knowledge of the local road network and hold a full clean UK driving licence.
