We are seeking a qualified experienced Carpenter to join our team at Keith Walker Construction in Auckland. As a full-time role, you will be involved in a large variety of work projects from light commercial work to residential renovations and new builds with a strong focus on high-quality workmanship, and being able to work alone or as part of our team. We are looking to pay wages but are happy to consider contract rates

What you'll be doing

Perform a range of carpentry tasks
Read sketches and building plans to complete assigned tasks
Use power tools, hand tools and other equipment in a safe and efficient manner
Collaborate with the construction team to resolve any issues and ensure projects stay on schedule
Maintain a clean and organised work environment
Adhere to all health, safety and environmental policies and procedures
What we're looking for

Minimum 5 years' experience as a Carpenter in the construction industry
Strong knowledge of building codes, construction techniques and carpentry best practices
Proficient in reading and interpreting drawings.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Commitment to quality workmanship and safety on the job site
