Cook Helper

Reports To: Health and Nutrition Program Manager

Probationary Period: +0 days – Full time; 120 days – Part time

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt (hourly)

Classification: Child Related CA

Driver’s License: No Driver’s License required.

Startin Wage: $15.00 - $16.75

Responsibilities: Assists with checking food shipments, stocking, and signing invoices only after each order has been verified.

Assist cook as needed with food preparation and cooking.

Reports to the Cook any faulty equipment or inferior food received.

Fills in for the cook when and wherever necessary in order to maintain a smooth-running operation.

Displays a responsive and professional manner in promptly responding to all requests, complaints, and problems.
