Sandwich Maker|Cashier

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Sandwich Maker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting delicious sandwiches while providing excellent customer service. You will work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that each sandwich is made to order and meets our quality standards. Your ability to manage time effectively and engage with customers will be key to your success in this position. All potential hires will be expected to be able to work from the hours of 11am-+pm whether thats just lunch some days, closing others, or the possibility to work a double shift all day.

Duties
• Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to customer specifications and company recipes.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and work areas.
• Handle food safely and adhere to all health and safety regulations.
• Assist customers with their orders, providing recommendations and upselling when appropriate.
• Perform bussing duties as needed to keep the dining area tidy.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
• Manage inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages to management.

Skills
• Strong knowledge of kitchen operations and food handling practices.
• Basic retail math skills for managing inventory and processing orders accurately.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Ability to upsell products effectively while maintaining customer satisfaction.
• Strong communication skills to interact positively with customers and team members.
• A proactive attitude towards helping others in a team-oriented setting.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 35 per week

Experience:
• Retail math: 1 year (Preferred)
• Food handling: 1 year (Preferred)
