Location: Basingstoke, UK
Hours: Monday to Friday, 42.5 hours per week
Salary: £42,000 per annum

About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Van Technician to join our team in Basingstoke. This is a full-time, permanent position offering a competitive salary and excellent work-life balance. As a Van Technician, you will be responsible for servicing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of light commercial vehicles to ensure they are in top working condition.

Key Responsibilities
• Carry out routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs on light commercial vehicles (LCVs).
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic tools.
• Perform pre-MOT inspections and prepare vans for testing.
• Replace worn or damaged components such as brakes, suspension parts, and exhaust systems.
• Ensure all work is completed efficiently and adheres to safety standards and manufacturer specifications.
• Accurately document all work performed, including parts used and time taken.
• Provide excellent customer service by explaining technical issues and repair needs when required.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring tools and equipment are in good working condition.

Requirements
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Van Technician or similar role.
• Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of van systems, diagnostics, and repair methods.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality workmanship.
• A valid UK driving licence.
