At Turing, we are looking for experienced PHP developers to work with our U.S-based customers. If you are well-versed in writing server-side web applications and linking them to other web services, this is an opportunity to work with industry experts and rise quickly through the ranks.

Responsibilities:
- Analyze website and application requirements
- Write clean, effective back-end code and build efficient PHP modules
- Develop back-end portals with an optimized database
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate works into the application
- Troubleshoot application and code issues
- Integrate data storage solutions
- Update and alter application features to improve performance

Requirements:
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or equivalent
- 3+ years of working experience in PHP web frameworks (rare exceptions for highly skilled candidates)
- Knowledge of front-end technologies, including JavaScript, CSS, and HTML
- Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases
- Understanding of object-oriented PHP programming
- Proficiency in code versioning tools, including Git, CVS, SVN
- Complete attention to database design and administration
- Knowledge of MVC frameworks

Preferred skills:
- Knowledge of building or maintaining a CMS
- Expertise in popular third-party APIs
- Experience working on projects that require data integration
- Good analytical and project management skills
- Ability to work on priorities in a fast-paced atmosphere
