Health aide

About the Role

As a Home Health Aide, you'll provide essential care and support to patients in their own homes. You'll assist with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being.

Key Responsibilities

Personal Care : Assist patients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.

Household Chores : Help with light housekeeping tasks, such as meal preparation, laundry, and cleaning.

Medication Reminders : Remind patients to take medications as prescribed.

Vital Signs : Monitor patients' vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration.

Companionship : Provide companionship and emotional support to patients.

Transportation : Assist with transportation to medical appointments or errands.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent

Certification as a Home Health Aide (HHA) is preferred but not always required

Basic knowledge of healthcare procedures

Strong interpersonal and communication skills
