Are you an experienced Accountant/Purchase Ledger whilst exceptional financial reporting skills looking to join a vibrant, professional and growing business?

Our client is looking for an Accountant/ ledger controller to join their team in Aberdeen for a 6 month period. Working from 2 days per week after an initial handover period

Your New Role
• Oversee the maintenance of the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately
• Ensuring all financial reporting deadlines are met
• Ensure balance sheet accounts are reconciled
• lead the month-end and year-end close process, including journal entried, accruals and adjustments.
• Perform Montyhly ARCS reconciliations
• Review and approve monthly VAT returns
• Preparing financial reports

What You’ll Need To Succeed
• Proven experience in ledger controller role
• Experience within high pace enviroments be preferred but is not essential.
• Proven ability to meet and exceed KPI’s.
• Strong analytical skills.
