Job description
Location: Spennymoor, Tyne and Wear

Salary: Up to £40,000 (Depending on experience)

Responsibilities
• Preparation of statutory and management accounts
• Liaising with clients and building/maintain professional relationships
• Preparation of monthly/quarterly VAT returns.
• General Bookkeeping duties
• Assist clients with any support and general accounting advice where necessary
• Review the work of any junior staff if and where required

What We Are Looking For
• AAT/ACCA Qualified
• Experience with QuickBooks and Xero
• At least 3+ years’ experience within an accountancy practice.
• Proven track record within a similar role, ability to hit the ground running within little training.
• Experience with Preparation of accounts
• Be client focused and have a positive, proactive approach to solving client issues
