Job Title: Sr. PostgreSQL DBA

Location: India(Remote)

Job description:
• Should possess a minimum of 6 years of experience as a PostgreSQL DBA and 12 years of experience as a DBA.
• Proven working experience as a PostgreSQL database administrator.
• In-depth knowledge of database management systems, primarily PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with database design principles, data normalization, and indexing techniques.
• Understanding of data security and access control principles.
• Knowledge of cloud-based database services (e.g., AWS RDS and DMS) and Amazon Aurora DB cluster.
• Experience with PostgreSQL monitoring and performance tuning tools.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with writing complex queries and stored procedures.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to troubleshoot database-related issues.
• Experience with AWS services (EC2, AWS Backup, CloudWatch, S3, DMS) is a plus.
• PostgreSQL certifications and AWS certifications are a plus.
• Working experience as an MS SQL server database administrator is a plus.
