Description:
• The Greenwood Project was founded in 2016 based on two core principles:

• GP’s mission is bold, essential and long overdue. We are dedicated to creating opportunities for qualified Black and Latino college students to attain high-trajectory careers in financial services through rigorous training and internships.
• The Financial Services Operations and Risk Career Specialist's priorities will be to support Greenwood Project scholars toward career pathways into investment banking.
• This unique opportunity allows you to have a significant and meaningful impact on the success of our scholars.

Requirements:
• Completed bachelor’s degree or equivalent. Master’s Degree preferred. Relevant subject areas preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience within the Financial Services industry, specifically in Operations and Risk.
• Ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds and think critically about the intersections between identity and job performance.
• Ability to design feedback loops and protocols related to improving job performance.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and on a team to align programs or products to meet the needs of multiple stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the demonstrated ability to use data to drive decision-making.
• Ability to design systems to track and monitor data; strong Excel skills preferred.
• Excellent presentation skills, both oral and written, and the ability to tailor presentations to a variety of audiences.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Ability to occasionally travel to program and partner events or attend some evening or weekend events.
• Desire to operate in a start-up environment.
• Strong ethics and integrity, with a commitment to upholding the highest standards of professional conduct.
