Job Overview As a Team Member Silver at Salad Days, you will play a crucial role in our kitchen operations, ensuring the preparation of high quality salads and other dishes. You will be responsible for maintaining our high standards of food safety, hygiene, and operational efficiency, while also executing recipes accurately to deliver delicious and consistent meals to our customers. Key Responsibilities O Learn the elements that constitute a well-balanced and appealing salad O Gain in-depth knowledge of Salad Days' menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods O Adhere to food safety standards and hygiene practices to ensure a clean and safe kitchen environment O Become proficient in the use and maintenance of kitchen equipment O Assist in receiving inventory and applying the First In, First Out (FIFO) method to manage stock O Participate in regular sanitization tasks to maintain a spotless kitchen O Learn and practice essential food preparation techniques, including cutting, blanching, and boiling O Properly handle ingredients and follow planogram guidelines for ingredient storage and organization O Learn and execute Salad Days' recipes accurately O Prepare a variety of dishes, ensuring consistency and quality in every serving. Requirements O High school diploma or equivalent.
