Senior Tax Accountant

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
Ability to effectively articulate complex tax provisions and tax planning strategies
Strong technical tax knowledge and experience
Strong understanding of portfolio accounting and related systems
Experience with Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel and Word
Extensive knowledge of QuickBooks
Ability to utilize tax research software to perform tax research
Responsibilities
Review federal and state, fiduciary, and entity tax returns
Research and analyze tax questions and stay informed regarding new or proposed changes in tax laws and regulations
Provide input to the development of tax strategies
Analyze tax matters and drive appropriate business decisions by making recommendations and involving key business resources
Ensure that records and information pertinent to taxes are properly maintained through maintenance of tax work
