Job description
Position: Finance Transaction Lawyer

Company: Large manufacturing company

Location: Delhi

Job Summary:

Company is seeking an experienced Finance Transaction Lawyer to join the team. The successful candidate will provide legal support for complex financial transactions, including debt and equity financings, mergers and acquisitions, and other corporate finance matters.

Key Responsibilities:
• Draft, review, and negotiate (a) high-value contracts, facility agreements, security agreements, and other finance documents; (b)transaction documents, including purchase agreements and joint venture agreements and documentation pertaining to mergers and amalgamation
• Advise on legal issues related to financial transactions, including regulatory compliance and risk management.
• Provide legal support for deal closings and post-closing matters.
• Provide legal advice and support on shipping, ports and aviation related matters.
• Additionally, oversee and manage arbitration and NCLT related matters.

Requirements:
• Qualification: LLB from a premier institute. LL.M preferred.
• Experience: +-13 years; at least 5 years in a reputed law firm.
• Strong knowledge of finance law, including lending, securities, and mergers and acquisitions.
• Excellent negotiation and drafting skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Requirement:
• Experience with fintech or financial institutions
• Knowledge of relevant laws relating to Shipping & ports, aviation and understanding of the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (IBC).
