Requirement : EDI Developer

Responsibilities:
• Develop, implement, and maintain SQL solutions and EDI integrations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements.
• Design and optimize databases to ensure efficient data retrieval and storage.
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction and manipulation.
• Create and maintain data transformation mappings for EDI integrations.
• Collaborate with trading partners to set up EDI connections and translate data formats.
• Troubleshoot and debug data-related issues in SQL queries and EDI processes.
• Ensure data integrity, quality, and security in databases and EDI transactions.
• Monitor and analyze performance metrics to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest SQL and EDI trends, technologies, and best practices.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Strong proficiency in SQL development, including writing complex queries, stored procedures, and functions.
• Experience with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and tools.
• Familiarity with EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) standards, protocols, and transaction sets (X12, EDIFACT).
• Proficiency in working with various databases, such as Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL.
• Knowledge of database performance optimization techniques.
• Understanding of data modeling concepts and database design principles.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Nice to have:
• Experience with EDI mapping tools, such as Sterling Integrator or BizTalk.
• Knowledge of healthcare or retail industry EDI transactions.
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and tools.
• Understanding of cloud platforms, such as Azure or AWS
