ROV Tooling Technician

Job description
Global Edge is partnering with a leading service engineering company to recruit an ROV Tooling Technician (Mechanical). This role is initially a short-term contract with a possibility to extend and is based in Aberdeen.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with maintenance and preparation of ROV tooling equipment for Saipem ROV worksites.
• Perform strip-downs and reassembly of ROV tooling equipment.
• Complete and manage paperwork related to tooling maintenance.
• Check spares and conduct quality control checks prior to shipment.
• Support fellow ROV Tooling Technicians on various projects and tasks.

Requirements:
• Industry training in mechanical, hydraulic, or engineering disciplines with time-served experience.
• Preferred: Previous mechanical/hydraulic experience in a similar workshop environment.
