Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
ASE Refrigerant Recovery and Recycling Review Certification Program OR EPA section 60+ certified equivalent program completion
Shall have a minimum of three (3) years’ experience in vehicle mechanic services in either gasoline or diesel engines and related vehicle systems such as electrical, air conditioning, and braking
ASE Certification or equivalent
Ability to acquire and maintain government identification/common access card.
Ability to deal with a variety of people in a professional, courteous manner in diversified situations.
Valid Alabama state Driver’s License with acceptable driving record pertinent to the position.
Ability to successfully pass any background checks and/or drug testing required on the contract.
U.S. Citizenship.
Ability to obtain access to U.S. Government Installations through the Defense Biometric Identification System (DBIDS).

The incumbent performs inspections, maintenance, diagnosis, repair and performance testing on vehicles and equipment
Performs LTIs and repairs on general and special purpose vehicles and material handling equipment identified to deploy
Prepares duplicate Vehicle Historical Records
