Management Accountant

Job description
Grafton Banks Finance is pleased to be supporting a large, diversified PE backed group based close to Orpington with the recruitment of a Management Accountant. They are investing heavily into the local finance team in Kent and this role will play a pivotal role within finance, but also liaison with senior stakeholders throughout the business.

Role to include:
• Processing monthly contract accounting
• Project credit control
• Labour allocations, staff utilisation
• Ensuring costing accuracy
• Ensuring the correct IT set-up of new projects and employees
• Budgeting and re-forecasting
• Balance Sheet reconciliations
• Assist with ensuring full VAT, CIS, PAYE compliance

To be suitable for this role your profile will be similar to the following:
• ACCA/CIMA/ACA part-qualified or qualified by experience.
• Experience of contract/project accounting (desirable, not essential)
• Strong IT skills
• Good relationship builder and enjoys working with finance and non-finance staff
• Advanced Excel.

This role offers a salary of up to £50,000 + benefits, with a hybrid working model.
