Job Description
Senior Architect Designer cum Site Manager is a skilled professional who plays a crucial role in both the design and execution phases of a construction and interior projects, This role blends creative design with practical site management, requiring expertise in architecture, project coordination, and leadership, Here is a breakdown of the responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
1. Design & Planning:
• Lead the conceptual and detailed design process for architectural projects.
• Develop architectural drawings, sketches, and 3D models using software like AutoCAD, Revit, or SketchUp.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, needs, and budget.
Meeting clients, understanding their requirements, frame them in 2D , 3D models and arrange to implement the end to end framework
2. Project Coordination:
• Coordinate with contractors, Supervisors and other stakeholders to ensure that the design is feasible and aligns with the requirements.
• Prepare construction documents and specifications, ensuring they meet regulatory standards.
3. Site Management:
• Act as the on-site manager during the construction and interior phase, ensuring the project is executed according to the design plans.
• Supervise and coordinate the work of subcontractors, site workers, and vendors.
Monitor project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Handle site logistics, such as the delivery of materials and managing day-to-day operations.
4. Problem-Solving:
• Address any design issues that arise during construction and find practical solutions.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and handle any on-site challenges.
5. Client Interaction & Reporting:
• Keep the client updated on progress, changes, and any issues that arise.
• Prepare regular reports and ensure that the project stays within scope, budget, and timelines.
Skills Required:
• Architectural Knowledge: Deep understanding of architectural principles, building codes, and design trends.
• Project Management: Strong leadership and organizational skills to manage multiple aspects of a project simultaneously.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, Revit) and project management tools.
Problem-Solving: Ability to address site issues quickly and efficiently.
Communication: Excellent communication skills for coordinating with clients, contractors, and team members.
Leadership: Capable of managing team, making decisions, and taking responsibility for project outcomes.
