Qualifications
Requires proficient knowledge of SQL
Must be a results-oriented problem solver who enjoys a variety of challenges, can work independently and has solid communication skills
Knowledgeable in Excel formulas and functions
Minimum of 1 year of SQL experience and RDBMS administration/maintenance
Responsibilities
Duties include assisting in the maintenance and administration of our global, 24X7 database environment consisting of SAP ASE (Sybase ASE) RDBMS, SAP (Sybase) Replication Server and QlikView data analytics software
Basic database (DB) administration of Sybase RDBMS
Writing SQL stored procedures, triggers, queries and reports
DB performance tuning and monitoring
Assist PHP/Java developers in queries and database troubleshooting and optimizing
Maintain DB security compliance
Maintain documentation and standards
Patch Management, Version Control and upgrades to the RDBMS
Help manage DB design and implementation
Develop Business Intelligence queries and dashboards
Database Disaster Recovery for our global operations
Monitor and maintain the SAP Replication Server environment

• Junior Database Administrator

Duties include assisting in the maintenance and administration of our global, 24X7 database environment consisting of SAP ASE (Sybase ASE) RDBMS, SAP (Sybase) Replication Server and QlikView data analytics software. Duties
• Basic database (DB) administration of Sybase RDBMS.
• Writing SQL stored procedures, triggers, queries and reports.
• DB performance tuning and monitoring.
• Assist PHP/Java developers in queries and database troubleshooting and optimizing.
• Maintain DB security compliance.

Requirements
• Knowledge of SQL mandatory, Sybase experience a plus.
• Knowledgeable in Excel formulas and functions.
• Linux/Unix shell scripting (bash, perl, python) a plus.
• QlikView experience a plus.
• Minimum of 1 year of SQL experience and RDBMS administration/maintenance.
